Rowlands Pharmacy has evolved from an independent family owned business and is now a community group with over 500 pharmacies based around the UK. We are currently looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and passionate Pharmacist who is looking for more than your average Pharmacy Manager’s position. We are looking for an experienced manager for this high volume business. The hours are full time but we would consider 4-5 days.

We are seeking an individual who embraces change and is able to support an existing team with new and existing business initiatives. You will take ownership of the business, have a positive “can do” attitude, promote and deliver services within the team and provide a great customer experience within the pharmacy.

The branch is well supported by a strong team with a mix of 7 full, part time and qualified staff. You will be able to bring the established team together with your team building skills and at the same time develop your relationships with external healthcare professionals to ensure the community is well served.

The branch offers a superb in-store experience for your customers. It also has its own consultation room and is adjacent to a health centre/GP’s surgery giving you great potential for developing your business and the existing services: Community Medicine Reviews, Weight management, supervised methadone, smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, MURs.

We believe in giving our Pharmacy Managers as much autonomy and responsibility for managing their pharmacy as possible. We recognise that responding to local needs is where you and your support team can really make a difference.
