This exciting role involves providing Duty Pharmacist cover and operational responsibilities of pharmacies on a day to day basis in a given area. Challenges include ensuring maintenance of professional services, supporting self care in the community, maintaining legal, ethical and operational standards and providing staff training and guidance.
Role effectiveness involves team working, supervising, delegating, good time management and using your initiative, with the drive to make things happen and develop sales.
Occasionally you may be required to work at other locations outside your agreed cluster to support openings or refits of new pharmacy departments, in addition to providing emergency cover. It is the ideal opportunity to develop the necessary skills for a Pharmacy Manager.
A relief development programme will provide the necessary knowledge and skills for the position.
