Job role:                     Second Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician

Location:                    Shoreham-by-Sea (Brighton area, West Sussex)

Over the last 12 years, we’ve built an excellent reputation delivering comprehensive, competence-based medicines administration training and consultancy to health and social care providers across the UK. We are proud to offer what we believe is the most comprehensive and high-quality medication training currently available in the marketplace.

This is a unique opportunity to join our small specialist company, a varied and rewarding position without the pressure of more traditional pharmacy roles. You’ll work closely with our Principal Pharmacist, supporting the company, driving us forward and making sure we deliver on our promise of quality.

Initially you’ll be delivering training workshops across Sussex and occasionally nationally, alongside our team of associate pharmacist and nurse trainers, so we need you to travel (travel expenses are paid in addition by us). But uniquely, you’ll also have a role in our office in Shoreham-by-Sea. Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Researching and updating training materials to reflect the latest best practice
  • Updating medication policies, medicines forms and processes for customers
  • Working on marketing campaigns and answering medicines-related and sales enquiries from customers.

Initially the position will be 2 to 3 days a week, 9am to 5pm (we offer some flexibility around these days and times), but these hours may grow as the role develops, and you become more office-based with the team in Shoreham-by-Sea. You’ll work alongside our Principal Pharmacist to learn all aspects of medicines management within care homes, community settings and schools.

About you:

This position would suit someone with:

  • a good eye for detail
  • good organisational skills
  • good presentation and communication skills
  • good computer skills
  • and someone who is willing to travel (to deliver training workshops)
  • good team player

It’s more important we get the right person for this role as we are willing to provide the training needed to support you. If you’re a friendly and confident registered pharmacist or pharmacy technician with drive, then we'd love to hear from you.
