Role
Superintendent Pharmacist
Sector
Independent
Contract Type
Permanent
Hours
Full Time

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a full-time Superintendent Pharmacist in our independent local pharmacy. We are looking for an enthusiastic head to our lovely team to help develop our already thriving business.

Glemsford Pharmacy has a very close working relationship with our co-located GP practice, offering together a high level of care. With a 4 day (no weekends) working week, 10000 items per month and a variety of services offered, the right person would have experience at the community or superintendent level and would be looking to take on a challenge to enhance the business further whilst caring for our community.

For the right candidate, there is a possibility of collaborative working with our co-located general practice. There is also potential for integrating the superintendent further into practice pharmacy to take on primary care pharmacy roles and some patient facing opportunities.

We are located in Glemsford in rural Suffolk, with good commuting links to Bury St Edmunds, Braintree, Saffron Waldon and Ipswich. We offer a high level of care in modern surroundings (the pharmacy was refitted in 2015) and have an excellent mix of dispensary staff, including an ACT. We do not run as a corporate environment so you will not be working to targets.

To apply, please submit a CV and covering letter to Sharyn.baldwin@nhs.net . For more information, contact Annabel Davey at Annabel.davey@nhs.net or on 01787 280484.
