Founded in 1992 by a small group of pharmacists, Avicenna started life as an independent pharmacy buying group and has continued to grow to over 1000 independent members.

Today more than 1,000 members have joined us, all of whom have a share in the company. Avicenna members are supported in the day to day running of their businesses by a dedicated and professional in-house team.

Avicenna continues to secure the best buying terms from a variety of suppliers as well as offering training & development opportunities and hosting a vibrant calendar of social events including an annual overseas conference.
