Location: Field role –– would suit someone based in Nottinghamshire/Leicestershire/Derbyshire.

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37.5 Hours Monday- Friday

Avicenna is the UK’s largest independent Pharmacy Support group and also owns a retail chain of 20+ stores.

The Role:

  • Reporting directly to the Head of Membership services, this is a field based role where you will be expected to implement our Aviplus services solutions for members as they join.
  • Ensure ongoing communication and support for our members across the midlands and the north.
  • Covering the Midlands & North of England

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ3/ACT with knowledge of current regulatory standards eg GPhC, CPAF (including inspections) , IG etc
  • Able to multi-task handling a broad range of tasks at any one time and work effectively under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Must be organized, thorough, conscientious, pro-active and have the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Community Pharmacy and how to support the independent sector.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Team player
  • Car owner with clean drivers licence
  • Able to stay away on a regular basis

Your main duties will include

  • Implementation of Aviplus services solutions for new members
  • Assess the needs of the member prior to visit, enabling you to decide what area to focus on.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication including regular visits.
  • Build relationships and respond to member queries
  • Work as a team with other staff
  • Ability to adapt to changes to suit Avicenna’s strategies and objectives
