Due to the retirement of our current Dispensary Manager, we are now recruiting. This is an exciting time at Swallowfield as we are expected to grow over the next 5 years from 12,000 registered patients to around 19,000. We currently dispense to circa 5,400 patients and this also continues to grow. The successful candidate will be a qualified dispenser with (ideally) at least 24 months post qualification experience. In addition to this, they must be self-motivated and inspirational in the way that they work to help move the team into a new era, maximising the use of technology, continually reviewing processes to ensure we operate efficiently and effectively and be customer centric. The ability to motivate others and work as part of a team both within the dispensary and the wider practice are also essential. The role is full-time (37.5 hrs) however we would consider a minimum of 30 hours for the right candidate. In either case, we would need the manager to work the hours over 4 days to ensure a good level of management cover between them and the Assistant Manager.
