Job Details

The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) is the trade association supporting community pharmacy in the UK and is seeking to employ an Education and Training Pharmacist on a permanent basis.
 
Education and Training Pharmacist role responsibilities include:

  • Developing, designing and maintaining pharmacy staff training courses and resources
  • Delivery of face to face pharmacy staff training
  • Marking of student course work
  • Offer support to students and tutors via telephone, email and face to face
  • Offer support and insight to new product development processes

Education and Training Pharmacist skills and experience include:

  • GPhC registered pharmacist
  • Demonstrable community pharmacy experience/knowledge and understanding of statutory requirements for pharmacy staff
  • Experience of training pharmacy staff
  • Competent computer literacy of Microsoft packages, with PDF experience an advantage
  • Qualified Assessor qualification would also be an advantage
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

The role is based at the NPA head office in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The post holder will be required to travel throughout the UK regularly to deliver training at external venues.
