Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician

We are a busy community pharmacy based in Wyke, Bradford. We are looking to recruit a Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician to join our team to help provide pharmaceutical services to the local community.

The relevant candidate must have a minimum qualification of level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Service skills or above and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in community pharmacy. You should be able to work independently to complete daily tasks associated with the running of a busy community pharmacy.

Responsibilities and Duties will include:

• Providing excellent customer service, ensuring customer expectations are met.
• Provide healthcare advice to patients
• Ensure a smooth running of the dispensary
• Dispensing medication effectively and safely.
• Must be able to order and maintain stock levels effectively at all times.
• Manage patients’ dosette trays to aid with patients’ adherence.
• Must be a team player, support the pharmacist, the dispensary and shop staff to achieve the overall business objectives.
• Must be able to liaise with other healthcare professionals, dealing with patients’ queries over the phone or face to face.
• Must understand and respect patient’s confidentiality.

We are looking for a candidate to work a minimum of 36 hours a week and the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary in addition to 20 days paid holiday (excluding bank holidays) as well as other benefits.
