LloydsPharmacy are currently recruiting for a Teacher Practitioner to work at Medway School of Pharmacy.

In this role you will act as a brand advocate for LloydsPharmacy and drive towards inspiring talent of the future whilst playing a key role in helping the School of Pharmacy to deliver their innovative patient-focused MPharm programme preparing their graduates for a successful pharmacy career.

The successful candidate will work as a Relief Pharmacy Manager for three days a week in our LloydsPharmacy stores across Kent and complete two days a week on a secondment basis at the University (one day outside of term time).

The responsibilities of a Teacher Practitioner at the Medway School of Pharmacy include:

  •         Teaching on the school’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as appropriate
  •         Designing, evaluating and delivering innovative teaching materials
  •         Contributing to the shaping of the department’s teaching strategy
  •         Designing, developing and preparing student assessments in conjunction with colleagues from the CPP team
  •         Marking student work and provide constructive feedback in a timely manner
  •         Acting as assessor for under and postgraduate OSCE examinations, as required
  •         Undertaking personal tutor duties and provide general pastoral care for students
  •         Undertaking appropriate administration, as required
  •         Providing a link with key stakeholder, for example NHS managers, Non-Medical Prescribing leads, Designated Medical Practitioners, commissioners, funders, external examiners and other higher education institutions as required

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
