Pharmacy Technician

The Job You’ll be tasked with working within the clinical team here at Echo which comprises of traditional dispensary work alongside clinical administrative work that is unique to Echo to ensure that we get as many prescription orders out of the door as possible whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy at all times. We pride ourselves on delivering an unparalleled all-round customer experience and expect great work: to this end you will be working closely not only with the Dispensary Technicians to ensure dispensing excellence, but with our Operations Team to communicate with our users to deal with their clinical questions in conjunction with our Clinical Director and Pharmacists.

A tight-knit unit, we expect everyone here at Echo to also be working towards improving the product and experience every single day, you’ll have constant opportunities to feed into our ongoing systems improvement and the opportunity to liaise not only with Operations, but with Product to shape and better our internal tools.

Person specification We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a NVQ Level 3 pharmacy technician or NVQ Level 2 dispensary assistant qualification
  • 2+ year experience in community pharmacy
  • Good understanding of NHS prescription systems
  • Willing to work shift patterns including weekends
  • Is a fluent English speaker
  • Superb organisational skills and an ability to expertly juggle and prioritise several tasks at the same time
  • A can-do attitude: you are prepared to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • An appreciation for the importance of respect and confidentiality in healthcare
  • Has exceptional communication skills: verbal and written
  • Is willing to undergo a full DBS check.
