Pharmacy Manager

We operate a group of community pharmacies spread throughout the South East of England. We require an experienced and suitably qualified individual to join our team at our Copthorn Branch.

As a part of a dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to work in a busy environment, where your ideas can get put into action.

Pharmacy Manager Salary: £32-36k per year based on experience

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Ordering, selling and controlling medicines and other stock
• Providing advice about health issues, symptoms and over the counter medications in response to customer enquiries
• Maintaining client and prescription data
• Keeping statistical and financial records
• Preparing publicity materials and displays
• Communicating third parties (GP surgeries, care homes and etc.) for marketing purposes
• Developing additional services

You will be also be required to lead, manage and develop the support team to achieve high professional and operational standards, exemplary levels of service, and delivery of our objectives and targets. You will also develop effective external relationships to support the growth and development of the business.

You must be registered degree level educated in a related discipline. You must have at least 3 years on the job experience with proven leadership & performance management skills. You must also have essential knowledge of leading medicinal products, safe storage and stock control of medicine, Marketing and communication skills and effective business record keeping skills

You may be required to do paid overtime by agreement as and when required
