An exciting opportunity has become available for a Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser / Technician to work in a head office role for Celesio UK & LloydsPharmacy, as a Clinical Data Specialist.
Our Clinical Data Specialists have responsibility for updating and maintaining the Central Files and Clinical Data for the Lloyds Pharmacy systems. Utilising your dispensing knowledge, he/she will be focussed on the input of data for Supply Chain, UK Drug Tariff and general product information.
This unique opportunity is perfect for an NVQ level 2 or 3 Pharmacy Dispenser, looking to carve a successful career within a corporate/head office environment.
To be successful in this role, he/she must be a qualified technician/dispenser with either a level 2 NVQ Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills or a level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills, or equivalent. Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel, are highly desirable for this position.
The ideal candidate will also be very strong and effective communicators, in order to focus on increasing efficiency of the communication processes currently in place with key business stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain a wealth of additional knowledge and experience within a corporate Pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Management of data for Lloyds B2B contracts including hospital out patient dispensing etc
Responsible for enrichment and maintenance of ethical, clinical and dispensary sstem data maintained to required quality, consistency, accuracy and timelines.
Responsible for effective and efficient data handling.
Reviewing documentation and procedures regarding data enrichment.
Prioritising information and relevant transfer to line manager or team member as appropriate.
Dealing with internal and external queries effectively to resolution or directing subsequent problems to correct department.
Good working relationship with internal, external customers and colleagues.
All day to day operational and development issues relating to self.
