Deputy Regional Manager - South England

We are looking to expand our team with a home based Deputy Regional Manager to cover the southern regions of Great Britain.

We are currently seeking Deputy Regional Managers to support teams of inspectors to provide assurance that standards in registered Pharmacy premises are being met and improved.

Successful post holders will preferably be registered pharmacists or pharmacy technicians with a good understanding of the challenges facing retail community pharmacies.  Experience of delivering inspections, excellent judgement skills and the ability to communicate with a range of audiences is essential for this position.  Previous experience of line management of staff and/or operational management of teams would be desirable.

Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, your responsibilities will include:

·       To deliver a programme of monitoring and inspection of an allocated portfolio of registered premises in the region

·       To undertake the supervision and line management of assigned inspectors

·       To carry out investigations of allocated high profile or sensitive stream 1 cases to time and quality objectives in line with policies and procedures

·       To undertake quality assurance of the inspection report process for registered pharmacy premises to ensure consistent, evidence-based judgements are delivered and auditable

·       To undertake, monitor and manage a programme of visits to pharmacy premises applying to join the register
