Relief Pharmacist - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Cox and Robinson is a trading name of PCT Healthcare Ltd predominantly in the Milton Keynes area. We are a family-run company with over 120 pharmacies throughout the country. 

We are recruiting for a Relief Pharmacist to cover in the Milton Keynes area. 

There are two positions available, the working patterns for each position are as follows:

Position 1: Monday and Wednesday 9am to 6pm, Thursday 9am to 2pm and Friday 9am to 1pm.  Plus, Saturdays if required.

Position 2:  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 2pm, plus Saturdays 9am to 3pm on a 3 out of 4 rota basis.

As a Relief Pharmacist, you will be providing excellent customer and patient care, dispensing medication, listening to patients and giving expert advice.

Key responsibilities include:

• You will work within different branches, over a variety of locations, ensuring expert care and service is delivered at all times.
• Working with the various branch teams and using your own intuition, expertise and experience to deliver excellent service to our customers and patients.
• Providing expert advice and care to patients across all pharmacies worked in.
• Being accountable for professional, legal and ethical decisions made in the pharmacy, with the help of our Superintendents Department.
• Actively supporting the development and training of colleagues. Work to deliver professional services – personally and through the pharmacy team  

Our ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will be professional, caring and have a hands-on approach to modern community pharmacy. In addition you will:

• Be GPhC registered
• Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services.
• Have the relevant CPPE training to offer MURs, NMS and Flu vaccines
• Keep up to date with your own learning and development, completing any required Pharmacist training
