At Manichem Group we are recruiting for a Pharmacist Manager to provide excellent customer service and patient care. You will not only dispense medicine, look after our customers and patients and give expert advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- In partnership with the pharmacy team you will use your intuition, expertise and experience to deliver sound advice and care to our customers and patients
- To assume full managerial control of the branch in accordance with the company's policies and procedures
- To maintain discipline at the branch and to act in strict accordance with the company's policies regarding disciplinary procedures
- To assist in the training of Pre-registration student when required
- To ensure the maintenance and development of all retail service at the branch
- Ensure the branch and staff meet all profession legal & ethical standards pertaining to pharmacists and pharmacy
- Actively supporting the development, education & training of colleagues; building pharmacy capability of store teams
- Conducting regular reviews, audits and risk assessments to protect patient and public safety
- Work to deliver world class professional services – personally and through the pharmacy team
- To ensure the maintenance and development of all professional services at the branch, including dispensing, Medicines Use Reviews, New Medicine Services etc
- To participate in NHS Enhanced Services, Public Health services or similar initiatives in the area in which the branch is located where applicable
- To ensure all relevant information is relayed to the pharmacist and pharmacy team
Successful candidates will have a professional, and caring character and true desire to help our customers and patients. In addition, you will
- Registered with relevant pharmacy Regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
- Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, customers/patients and external local professionals
- Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
- Be commercially astute, understand the growth and development of the healthcare industry
- Role model first class communication skills, where you will hold excellent face to face interactions with all types of customers and patients
- Thrive in a team centred approach with strong collaborative working
- Have a passion for keeping up to date with your own learning and development, completing all Pharmacist mandatory and directed training
- Be digitally savvy and comfortable with navigating and embracing new technology
