Dispenser - Outpatient Dispensing

Two full time posts- (37.5 hours per week) at High-Wycombe Hospital and one part-time post (20 hours per week) cross sites, 1 in 4 Saturday's (9am to 1pm)

Are you an experienced dispenser from community pharmacy looking for a role with a difference, where you can develop your knowledge in a hospital environment and train to become a pharmacy technician or perhaps you're looking for your first role in Pharmacy?

This unique role offers the chance to be part of a growing team within our Stoke Mandeville and High-Wycombe Outpatient Dispensing team enabling you to develop your career in a fast paced environment, whilst providing a customer focused and critical service to patients. You will be supported with the right training to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge required for working in a hospital setting.

Pharmacy@bucks is an exciting new innovative outpatient dispensing services, focusing on providing efficient and effective pharmacy services to our patients and visitors at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT). This pharmacy is run by Buckinghamshire Health Projects Ltd (BHPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. This pharmacy provide dispensing services for the out-patients prescriptions issued by BHT and provide OTC medicines and advice to BHT staff and visitors.

You will be responsible and reliable for supporting the efficient delivery of the outpatient dispensing service, working as a key member of the pharmacy team to achieve excellence and provide exceptional customer care and patient safety.

Qualifications

GCSEs Grades A*- C (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or GPhc accredited equivalent course
