Spectrum Biomedical UK, is a newly formed group working in close association with research and development arm, Beckley Canopy Therapeutics. Spectrum Biomedical is part of the Canopy Health and Spektrum Cannabis group, major players in medicinal cannabis markets overseas. Our goal is to lead the way in delivering high quality medicinal cannabis to meet the growing demand from clinicians and patient groups in the UK. As a group, we in an exciting period of growth; just about to move into purpose build office near Aylesbury and scale up operations.

 

 

 

The Opportunity 
 

 

We are looking for a very well organized and detail-orientated individual to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Associate, a Registered Pharmacist will be able to assume expanded responsibilities in our growing team offering great opportunities for progression. In the first instance you will be assisting with the set-up of the business processes, helping to ensure inspection readiness of our distribution centre. Going forward, you will become a pivotal, senior member of our operations team, proficient in a highly specialised and desirable set of skills covering Good Distribution Practice, delivery of controlled substances and named patient schemes. You will be an adaptable and confident self-starter looking for an opportunity to grow in your role as our company does.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

 

Assist the team to ensure continual inspection readiness of our warehouse operation according to GDP.

 

Take the initiative on developing key supply chain processes in collaboration with the logistic administrator and colleagues in Europe, ensuring efficiency and compliance to local regulations.

 

Manage change control and CAPAs under the guidance of the Director of Operations, providing leadership to the members of the warehouse and operational team as the team grows.

 

Track and ensure compliance with SOP review cycles and training.

 

Prepare for and lead quarterly Quality Review Meetings.

 

Liaise with 3rd party contractors to ensure compliance in accordance with our Quality Management System.

 

Progression to a Responsible Person possible, following successful completion of training and demonstrated proficiency.

 

Assist in the development of training materials and key documentation in collaboration with Regulatory Affairs.

Comfortable working in the dynamic and changing environment of a new venture

 

A proactive and resourceful team player.

 

Experience working to GxP standards is essential, training on GDP will be provided.

 

Experience in Quality Assurance within a Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Healthcare setting is highly desirable.

 

Enthusiasm to learn about medicinal cannabis and local regulations pertaining to the role. Training will be provided.

 

Experience of SOP development and acting in a supervisory capacity is an asset.

 

Qualified Registered Pharmacist, demonstrating technical, scientific skills relevant to the Responsible Person Role.
