As a Pharmacy Manager with Dudley Taylor Pharmacies, we believe your priority should be to provide the best possible Pharmaceutical Care for all of your patients.  Whilst we believe commercial considerations are an important part of your role, we feel strongly that patient care should always come first.

An important part of the role is to develop and lead your team, with full support from the Head Office team available if needed.  As a Pharmacy Manager, we would expect you to develop relationships with other Healthcare providers in your locality, whilst managing your Pharmacy to ensure it follows our Standard Operating Procedures.  This will allow you to offer excellent patient care, a first class dispensing service and offer all the locally and nationally commissioned advanced and enhanced services.

Combe Down Pharmacy in Bath dispenses 3,500+ items per month, so delivery of services is a critical part of the Pharmacy.  The Pharmacy would be suitable for a newly qualified pharmacist, or someone with many years of experience as the prescription numbers allow the Pharmacy Manager to engage in the wider role of the pharmacist, through the provision of a wide range of services for all members of the community, and the local university population.

The vacancy in Bath is to manage our established Pharmacy that is an integral part of the local community.  The whole area is currently being redeveloped by the council, which provisionally includes the building of new retail units, which will include our pharmacy.  There is an experienced team, all of whom have formal training qualifications, or are working towards one.  The retiring Pharmacy Manager will continue to be available to support their replacement if their help is required, as part of your induction.  The position is full time, working a minimum of 4 full days per week, up to a maximum of 5.5 days per week.  The opening hours are:

·       Monday to Friday:                9.00am - 1.00pm and 1.30pm - 5.30pm

 

·       Saturday                               9.00am - 1.00pm
