As a Pharmacy Manager with Dudley Taylor Pharmacies, we believe your priority should be to provide the best possible Pharmaceutical Care for all of your patients.  Whilst we believe commercial considerations are an important part of your role, we feel strongly that patient care should always come first.

An important part of the role is to develop and lead your team, with full support from the Head Office team available if needed.  As a Pharmacy Manager, we would expect you to develop relationships with other Healthcare providers in your locality, whilst managing your Pharmacy to ensure it follows our Standard Operating Procedures.  This will allow you to offer excellent patient care, a first class dispensing service and offer all the locally and nationally commissioned advanced and enhanced services.

Chappells Pharmacy in Caldicot dispenses 12,000+ items per month, and offers many national and local services, which are a critical part of the Pharmacy.  The nearby Richeld Pharmacy is also part of Dudley Taylor Pharmacies, so the local support network is excellent.  We also have Pharmacies in Magor, Portskewett, Bulwark, Newport and Usk

The vacancy in Caldicot is to manage our established Pharmacy that is an integral part of the local community.  There is a strong team, all of whom have formal training qualifications, or are working towards one.  The position is full time, working a minimum of 4 full days per week, up to a maximum of 5.5 days per week.  The Pharmacy is also involved with the local rota service, with a team of local pharmacists covering the additional opening hours between them.

We are a family owned group with over 60 pharmacies throughout England and Wales, with over 500 staff.  We were formed in 1947, and are based in Warwick offering all of our Pharmacy teams full support to ensure they are an established part of their local communities.

Our patients are our priority, and we are looking for a pharmacist who is passionate about Healthcare and is looking for an exciting opportunity to help manage one of our Pharmacies.

For the successful applicant, we offer:

·        Market Leading salary

·        5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata if not full time)

·        Workplace pension scheme

·        Staff discount

·        GPhC fees paid

·        Training support
