Pharmacy Learning through Practice Programmes Technician

Part Time -21 hours (flexible working options considered)

We are looking to appoint a talented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic and creative Learning through Practice (LtP) Team.  The Team provides academic education and scholarship input into the continuing development and delivery of the MPharm Learning through Practice programme.   The School has strong links to the NHS, both in the community and secondary care including with the local University Teaching Hospital, and a strong and developing interest with the Pharmaceutical Industry.

The School has an established LtP programme across all four years of the MPharm programme, with placements in primary and secondary care and within community pharmacy.  It is also currently working towards full accreditation of an integrated 5-year MPharm.

In an exciting development the School wishes to appoint a registered pharmacy technician to join the LtP Team. You will bring relevant professional experience as a pharmacy technician and understanding of UK pharmacy practice to enable you to organise the day to day running of the learning through practice elements of the Stage 1 MPharm programme.

You must demonstrate good communication skills, and good written and oral presentation skills.  You will be able to plan and organise your time efficiently and be able to work with minimum supervision.  You will have good inter-personal and networking skills to allow you to support the delivery and development our Quality Assurance processes which underpin our LtP programmes. Ability to work in a team is essential to support the effective delivery of existing and new LtP programmes.
