Andrews Pharmacy a small group of community pharmacies based in Macclesfield, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic pharmacist manager to join our team at Tytherington Pharmacy.

The new contractual framework for community pharmacy is providing exciting new opportunities for us and we are committed to make it work for the whole team. In addition, we are offering an ever growing range of private services to our patients.

This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist manager to join our busy team and includes a package of support to become an independent prescriber.

We seek a commercially focused pharmacist with excellent clinical skills who can communicate effectively with patients, staff, GPs, and other healthcare professionals. You will lead by example with excellent customer service skills to help the pharmacy provide the very best healthcare services to the local community and beyond.

This is a full-time permanent position.

We require you to:

  • Help build a more clinically focused role for our pharmacists whilst supporting the supply of repeat and acute prescription medicines.
  • Understand and grow revenue and margin with our business.
  • Maintain and improve peoples’ health by promoting Healthy Living Pharmacy services
  • Ensure the effective and efficient running of the pharmacy, leading by example
  • Ensure the pharmacy engages with all commissioned services and complies with the pharmacy quality framework. At the same time help investigate new private opportunities.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent, and have management experience. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date, and be accredited to provide all essential, advanced and locally commissioned services.
