As a Community Pharmacist with Dudley Taylor Pharmacies, we believe your priority should be to provide the best possible Pharmaceutical Care for all of your patients.  Our pharmacy at The Barn Surgery in Gillingham has a non-pharmacist Manager, which allows the pharmacist team to 100% focus on patient care, by providing excellent pharmacy service.

An important part of the role is to professionally develop and lead your team, with full support from the Manager, our long serving pharmacist who works 3 days per week, and the head office team.  As a Pharmacist, we would expect you to develop relationships with other Healthcare providers in your locality, whilst leading your pharmacy to ensure it follows our Standard Operating Procedures.  This will allow you to offer excellent patient care, a first class dispensing service and offer all the locally and nationally commissioned advanced and enhanced services.

Barn Pharmacy in Gillingham dispenses 8-9,000 items per month, so delivery of services is a critical part of the pharmacy.  We also own the other two pharmacies in the town, so the local support network is excellent.

The vacancy in The Barn, Gillingham is to work with the other employed pharmacist and Manager, in our established pharmacy, to ensure it remains an integral part of the local community, in this up and coming area.  There is a strong team, all of whom have formal training qualifications, or are working towards one.  The position is two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday), working 17 hours per week. The opening hours are:

·       Monday to Friday:                 9.00am - 1.30pm and 2.30pm - 6.30pm

We are a family owned group with over 60 pharmacies throughout England and Wales, with over 500 staff.  We were formed in 1947, and are based in Warwick offering all of our pharmacy teams full support to ensure they are an established part of their local communities.

Our patients are our priority, and we are looking for a pharmacist who is passionate about Healthcare and is looking for an exciting opportunity to help manage one of our pharmacies.

For the successful applicant, we offer:

·        Competitive salary

·        5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata if not full time)

·        Workplace pension scheme

·        Staff discount

·        GPhC fees paid

·        Training support
