This is a full-time role, but your time will be split 50:50 between working for Day Lewis and working for the University. During term time you will work 2 days for Day Lewis and 3 days for the University and during university holidays you will work 3 days for Day Lewis and 2 days for the University.  You must live in a commutable distance to Bath University and be open to travelling around the network of Day Lewis pharmacies in the Gloucester & Avon region.

From time to time you may be asked to participate in recruitment events, careers fairs and other Day Lewis projects.

On your days with the University, you will be responsible for working alongside the team of Teacher Practitioners to help deliver the MPharm programme. This will include delivering lectures, workshops, applied pharmacy practice skills sessions, assessment and marking and the pastoral care of students.

Your primary teaching commitment though will be to facilitate the delivery of a final year module, Pharmacy Management Simulation, which runs in teaching facilities that were built with support from Day Lewis in memory of Kirit Patel. These allow students to have an immersive role-playing environment in which they can learn through realistic patient interactions. Support to develop teaching and learning skills will be provided.
