Relief Pharmacist

Masons Chemists are looking for a patient focused relief pharmacist to join our team, working across our 5 branches in North West Leicestershire. Our branches are all located close to surgeries and have strong working relationships and are an integral part of the local community.

We are looking for a customer focused pharmacist with community pharmacy experience to join our team of pharmacy managers and reliefs. The role will involve working some days as a double pharmacist, helping our managers deliver pharmacy services as well as providing some holiday cover across the branches. The role is a near full time role working between 4 and 5 days per week, including some Saturday mornings on a regular schedule (circa 33 hours per week) although we would consider applications from pharmacists looking to work more or less than these hours.

Our ideal candidate would be a confident communicator who has a passion for providing good customer service and high quality clinical care to our customers. Experience in working closely with other healthcare professionals is needed to help continue our close working relationships. A track record in providing pharmacy led services is a must as is confidence in consultation skills to help support the pharmacy managers in delivering high quality care to our customers.

Masons Chemists is a small friendly group of pharmacies that has been serving the area around Coalville for over 50 years. Full Head office support is provided to enable our pharmacies to focus on their customers and we pride ourselves on the high levels of training our support teams have attained. We operate our branches with regular, employed second pharmacist cover and we have ACTs in place at all branches to ensure our pharmacy managers have the time to focus on where they can make the difference. We are proactive in driving community pharmacy forwards whether by service delivery such as COVID vaccination services, our use of automation or by our relationships with the wider healthcare team.
