A Special Thank you

Before we start to find out if we are a good fit, we just wanted to say thank you. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, those working in Healthcare across the UK stood up to the plate and helped to protect the country and for that, we will always be grateful.

About the Role

As a Travel Health Clinician, you will need to be either a qualified Nurse or Pharmacist, the role is working within a clinic environment based across 2 sites, one in Leeds and one in Harrogate. You will be providing comprehensive travel health and occupational health clinic services; the main part of your role will be providing vaccinations within the clinic based on appointments that are booked by our central team. You will also be involved in project work, such as providing vaccinations for government bodies, the project work will be approximately 1 day a week. All travel expenses outside your base site will be paid.

About MASTA

Part of McKesson, a leading healthcare company, we strive to break boundaries, challenge the status quo and support the changing healthcare industry. We are committed to offering the best advice and healthcare to our patients, customers and colleagues. As one of our Travel Health Community Nurses, you will be able to use your passion, ambition and drive to build solutions and have experiences that positively transform the lives of our patients.

LloydsPharmacy is a community pharmacy network with over 1,500 stores nationwide. MASTA (Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad) was established over 30 years ago and now operates as one of the largest network of private travel clinics in the UK.

About You

To succeed in this role you will need to be either a qualified Nurse or Pharmacist with experience of providing vaccinations, experience within phlebotomy would also be desirable but not essential as we can provide training. The rest of your team will be remote so you will need to be a self starter with strong communication skills and proactive at communicating upwards.

At the heart of everything you do should be our patient care and satisfaction.

We will imminently be recruiting for similar roles in Bristol, the south west, Manchester,  Birmingham and Coventry and will be accepting applications from these areas also.
