Pharmacist Manager

Rare opportunity in the New Year for a Pharmacist Manager to manage a long established pharmacy, recently relocated into new state-of-the-art premises adjacent to the local health centre, in a coastal village in County Durham.

The vacancy has arisen by virtue of a forthcoming retirement: this is the first time in 24 years that we have advertised for a pharmacist in our small chain of family run pharmacies. The business was established in 1935 and is still run by family members.

You will be supported by an experienced and qualified team, backed up by comprehensive assistance from a pharmacist-staffed Head Office. A wide range of guidance is available on the company’s own Intranet. Head Office input is light-touch and not target driven.

We are fully supportive of any service development you may wish to pursue in our primarily clinically focussed pharmacies, and funded training is available.

Working hours are 37.25 to 41 hours per week, but flexible working will be considered.
