**Are you a qualified dispenser with a minimum NVQ 2/3 in dispensing (or equivalent), with at least 1 year’s experience in a busy pharmacy environment?**

The Role

Our massive growth plans will help us save the NHS £1 billion and touch the lives of millions more patients.

You’ll be working closely with the Pharmacist to provide excellent patient care and safety, to ensure that the patient is always at the core of your performance and service delivery.     

Your main responsibilities will be ensuring the smooth running of the dispensary, dispensing medication effectively and safely, managing stock levels, deliveries and packaging medicines to send to patients.

You will also be another expert for our customers to talk to, providing healthcare advice and services over the phone, or via electronic communication.

You'll assist with general pharmacy duties including assembling blister packs, general pharmacy administrative tasks such as requesting medication,  responding to emails, and nominating new patients to Spirit Pharmacy.

As every day is different, you could find yourself getting involved with everything from acting as the first point of contact for customers, managing high volume dispensing transactions, to dealing with operational queries from GP surgeries.

As a successful candidate you will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, and have a personable attitude with a passion for delivering excellent patient care.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to provide excellent customer service by phone and electronically. With a commitment to continual learning, brilliant IT skills and the ability to thrive in a fast pace and growing environment, this role will support your progress in a pharmacy career.

Experience with ProScript Connect desirable
