The Foundation Year is based on GPhC standards and is delivered by external speakers and the Day Lewis training department/Foundation Training Manager.

Full support will be given to your learning and development with weekly protected study time within your contracted hours of 39 hours per week.

In house training is delivered by your individual Designated Supervisor under the guidance of our dedicated Foundation Training Manager, supplemented by monthly classroom training sessions with your Trainee Pharmacist peer group.

Professional and dedicated teamwork is important to succeed in Day Lewis and our Pharmacists take the lead in engaging the teams to deliver excellent services within the dispensary and the branch itself.  By joining our Trainee Pharmacist programme, you can be at the forefront of seeing how the Pharmacists make a different in the community every day.

There is also the chance to be considered for a full time Pharmacist / Relief Pharmacist position once you finish your Foundation Training Year.
