Pharmacist Branch Manager – Wigton King St

Are you looking for a store nestled in the heart of a small community that delivers excellent patient care?

Pharmacist Manager - £24 per hour

Location: Wigton, Wigton King St

Hours: 44.5 hour contract over a rolling 4 weeks with some Saturday working - could potentially suit a candidate who requires a more flexible work pattern i.e a four day week with a Saturday. I am willing to be flexible on rotas/hours for the right candidate.

Our Wigton King St Pharmacy is a fantastic community pharmacy in which you can make a real difference, it is based in Wigton a small friendly community twenty minutes outside of Carlisle, it has excellent transport links and is easy to commute too.

This is a busy community pharmacy, which delivers on average between 7500 to 8000 per month with a mix of MDS patients, small care homes and regular day to day dispensing.

The pharmacy has a varied skill mix made up of three qualified pharmacy assistants and  two trainees all on varying contracts from 18 hours up to 37.5 hours. The team in this branch are all exceptionally hard-working individuals with an excellent work ethic and attention to detail.

You will be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager, headed by a Regional Operations Manager. Your AOM will support you through structured store visits. This can be led by you, as the Pharmacy Branch Manager, supporting you with what matters to you most. Your AOM will also support you in delivering company initiatives and KPI’s.

Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
