Are you looking to work alongside a team leader to make a difference in patient care within a local community? Are you an organised professional with good communication skills? Do you want a role with no manager accountability? If so, then this position is for you.

Alnwick is a beautiful historic market town in the heart of Northumberland and has quickly become one of the country’s top tourist destinations. Our Pharmacy based here has a fantastic opportunity for you to come and make a difference.

This is a busy community pharmacy which has a fantastic opportunity to improve and grow; the branch delivers on average 11k items per month. The pharmacy is in the grounds of Alnwick Infirmary and next to a GP Surgery. The surgery has a patient base of 19.000, issuing on average 45,000 items per month.

The pharmacy has a varied skill mix including Team Leader, Pharmacy technician and Pharmacy Assistants – they are highly motivated individuals with a great work ethic, who are keen on delivering company initiatives and driving performance through KPI’s.

As well as dispensing day to day items, the pharmacy also dispenses MDS trays, support instalment patients and service local care homes, as well as delivering a range of NHS and private services.

Parking bays are available in the grounds.

You will be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits.
