Are you looking to lead a team to make a difference in patient care within the local community?

Our Barnton Pharmacy has a fantastic opportunity for you to come and make a difference.

This is a busy community pharmacy, which delivers on average 8.7k items per month. Barnton is nestled between the Trent and Mersey canals and has a traditional village feel; the patient base is loyal and there is a strong sense of community.  The pharmacy is located next door to the only surgery in the village, issuing on average 15,000 items per month of which we hold over 50% market share.

The pharmacy team is made up of four Pharmacy Assistants, with a range of contract sizes from 21 hours to 37 hours per week. The team within this branch are highly motivated individuals with a great work ethic, who are keen on delivering company initiatives and driving performance through KPI’s.  You will also offer support to those embarking on developing their skills towards NVQ3.

As well as dispensing day to day items and MDS trays, the pharmacy acts as a pillar in the community for providing health advice and for its retail offering.  The pharmacy delivers a range of NHS and private services and has also been a flagship Covid-19 vaccination site since June 2021.

You will be supported in your role by an active Area Operations Manager who takes a keen interest in developing individuals through regular structured pharmacy visits.
