44.5 hours over 5 weekdays (4 weekday and alternate Saturday contracts also available)

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.

Overview of the role

Our Tonyrefail Pharmacy has a fantastic opportunity for you to come and make a difference.

The Pharmacy:

Our pharmacy is located in the industrial village of Tonyrefail in the Ronda Cynon Taf borough of South Wales. It is a great local pharmacy, situated 25 minutes away from the city centre, with plenty of regular customers. It is located next to the GP surgery, so there is plenty of scope for building local relationships.

It is approximately half a mile down Mill Street from our other larger Well Pharmacy in Tonyrefail.

The store dispenses 2,500 items a week, with a strong team of full and part time ACTs, dispensers and PAs, both qualified and trainees. It offers services in CAS, DMR, EHC, Flu, Pneumonia and Needle exchange to a diverse client base of older and younger patients.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.

You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.

You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
