Minerva Clinical Services have been awarded a brand-new pharmacy licence and will be opening in the Autumn. We are located in Heyford Park, Upper Heyford in Oxfordshire. This is a wonderful large village location with huge redevelopment and enhanced community features such as a bistro, small boutique hotel, and local independent shops, school and community centre. We have a brand-new building of 150m2 which is being fitted out to the highest standards. As we are owned by the local GP partnership, Alchester Medical Group, you will have unrivalled support to succeed. We will have 4 consulting rooms to enable GPs and nurses to occasionally work with you on-site to further enhance the service and the working environment.
We already have a highly experienced pharmacy manager in place and have had a fantastic response to our advertisements for dispensing staff and counter assistants. Our goal is to make this a growing independent pharmacy at the heart of Heyford Park and the neighbouring communities and this starts with the recruitment of the right people.
You will need to be an enthusiastic pharmacist that will share their expertise, inspire the team and put our customers first. You will be the superintendent pharmacist and will recognise that this is an amazing and rare opportunity for you to get in at the start and to shape the service. You will be given all the resources and support you need to make this something very special.

Using your skills and experience we anticipate that you will grow the service quickly and will aim to offer a wide variety of NHS services such as blood pressure readings and blood glucose monitoring.
Training and support will be provided and we will aid you in developing your own ideas to achieve your own goals. This role is ideal for pharmacists who are keen to make a career move to a more clinical-based role in community pharmacy and to undertaking the Independent Prescribing course in the future. Funding and support will be provided to achieve this.
You need to be GPhC registered with a minimum of 2 years’ community pharmacy experience.
We are flexible and looking for someone either part-time or full time. Our contracted core opening times are:
Monday to Friday- 9:00am till 5:00pm
Our extended hours are to 6:00pm daily and Saturday mornings
Salary and hours are negotiable. This role is subject to a DBS check.
