The Role

Due to one of our team relocating, our bright and modern Manchester pharmacy requires a qualified Pharmacist to assist our Pharmacy Manager in the smooth running of the site.

Responsibilities

Pharmacist coverage as per site requirements, a willingness to support and cover for other team members as required to provide a seamless service to the business. Deputise in relation to all GDP and QMS activities in the absence of the Pharmacist Manager or as required. Ensure compliance with internal QMS system regulations and guidelines relating to regulatory and professional bodies.

Work closely with the Pharmacist Manager and Group Director of Pharmacy Services (Healthxchange Pharmacy UK Ltd) to deliver KPIs, implement company strategy and monitor performance accordingly.

When required, manage, plan and deliver internal training requirements, ensuring that the key deliverables are communicated and actioned.

Liaise with suppliers and other partners as required.

Involvement with inventory management, layout and work flow so as to maximise accuracy, sales and profit.

Where necessary, manage costs and overheads, and all factors affecting profitable performance.

Where necessary, seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about competitor activity, pricing and tactics and communicate this to relevant departments in the company.

Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required.

Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training.

Managing a small team when required.

About you

GPhC Registered Pharmacist.

Excellent knowledge and experience of GPhC and GDP regulations.

Ability to work collaboratively and to develop strong, positive working relationships.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven organisational and planning experience.

Team player with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritise and have a flexible approach to managing workload and tasks.

Excellent attention to detail.
