Full Time Pharmacist Required

We require a dedicated and enthusiastic pharmacist who is able to work in a busy and demanding environment. Candidates must be GPhC registered and have had some experience of working in community pharmacy. 

Job description:

Assist in providing essential, advanced and enhanced services. 

Job role to include:

Minimum paperwork.

• providing advice about health issues, symptoms and medications in response to customer enquiries.
• Assist in NHS contractural, regulatory and Pharmacy Quality Scheme requirements - audits, data collection, public health campaigns, etc.
• supervising or providing commissioned pharmacy services as required.

The annual salary will be approx. £55,000 to £60,000PA plus 5 weeks annual holidays (inc of bank holidays). You will be expected to work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday rota. Weekly hours of 37.5 hours (7.5 hours a day with 30 minute lunch).

You will be working with excellent support staff to include the manager, pharmacists, along with a team of qualified dispensers and counter assistants.

Candidates must be focused on maintaining a steady work pace (in particular with final accuracy checking), in our busy environment. Where the opportunity arises applicants must have the ability to deliver outstanding customer service and willing to carry out services such as NMS, EHC Consultations, NHS Stop Smoking support, CPCS, NHS Hypertension Services, flu vaccinations and so on.
