Overview of the role

We are looking for a Pharmacist to make a real difference at our pharmacy based in Darlington.

The Pharmacy: Market town in County Durham with a population of just over 100,000. Has good links to Middlesbrough and Stockton. Mix of town and countryside with 16 parks and 10 nature reserves across the town. None, have a large supervised consumption patient base but has Metha Measure machine. Mixed - open 100 hours so attracts patients from urgent care but also has regular patient base including MDS trays. Supervised consumption, Flu and covid jabs, NMS, Hypertension. Around 8000 items per month. Ideally four days with alternate Sat or Sun but open to negotiation

•  Salary - Up to £25 per hour + £5K Welcome to Well Bonus
•  Contract Type - Permanent - Full Time
•  No. Hours per week - 50

The Team: Amazing team lovely pharmacy to work in, brand new shop, well organised. Fully staffed with team leader, another Pharmacist, qualified dispensers and one trainee.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
