HBS group is a successful running chain of healthcare pharmacies with head office based in Preston (UK). Having experienced record growth in the last couple of years. Now as part of a new succession solution and to drive the strategy of profitable expansion, broadening the customer base, we are looking for a Pharmacist to support existing and new emerging opportunity in United Kingdom.

Successful candidate need to have following skill base and experience.

  • Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
  • Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labelling pharmaceuticals.
  • Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
  • Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labelling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
  • Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counselling patients on drug therapies.
  • Develops hospital staff's pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs; training pharmacy staff, students, interns, externs, residents, and health care professionals.
  • Complies with regulatory body; maintaining records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory; supervising the work results of support personnel; maintaining current registration; studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; advising management on needed actions.
  • Protects patients and technicians by adhering to infection-control protocols.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • MUR/NMS credited
  • Maintains pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements preferred, but not essential:

  • Registration with GPhC (Essential)
  • Flu Vaccination
  • EHC
  • NRT
  • Minor Aliment
  • Clinical Knowledge
  • Qualified Pharmacist registered with the GPHC
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain relationships within the company and across the customers we provide our services to
  • Be able to work in partnership with other healthcare professionals, using your expertise and experience to deliver complete care solutions for our customers and patients
  • Ability to prioritize work load and meet deadlines
