Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced pharmacist/manager to join/lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in the coastal town of Hartlepool, County Durham.

This community pharmacy is located close to the health centre at the bottom of the high street.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

  • It dispenses around 2,000- 2,500 per week but there is potential for more,
  • It provides a wide range of services including flu, NMS, blood pressure and AMBP,
  • It provides services to two care homes,

This pharmacy is open 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of six pharmacy colleagues.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.

You'll be focused on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.

You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

Package Description

On top of your salary:

  • We support all of our Pharmacists through the Independent Prescribing (IP) Qualification,
  • You can receive up to 15% of your annual salary, in bonuses, based on performance and delivery,
  • You can receive Relocation support (up to £8k) – this payment is dependent on job location and role. Please check the ‘salary’ section for this.
  • You can get a Welcome to Well bonus (£5K net payment) – This payment is exclusive to roles in certain locations. Please check the ‘salary’ section for this.
