Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy on Glasgow Road in Paisley.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Glasgow and is located on a main Road. It has a good relationship with the local GP surgery/health centre.

•  Salary - Up to £26 per hour + Welcome to Well
•  Contract Type - Permanent - Part Time
•  No. Hours per week - 10

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 1200– 1400 items a week,
• It provides a wide range of services including All national NHS services .
• It provides services to 30 substance misuse patients and 0 care homes.
• It dispenses 70 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 9am until 6pm Monday – Friday ( closing 1pm-2pm for lunch) and 9am-1pm on Saturdays. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 4 staff, one Checker, two dispensers 2  Trainees.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
