About Us: We are a GPhC-approved online pharmacy based in South West London. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service in dispensing private prescriptions through our regulatory-approved online prescribing portal.
Having grown significantly, we are now seeking a dynamic, full-time pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced online environment. While being an Independent Prescriber (IP) is not mandatory, it is highly advantageous.
Role Overview: As an experienced pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing private prescriptions, reviewing online private prescriptions f, and providing expert advice via email and phone consultations. You will also manage and supervise a team of dispensers, ensuring that all pharmacy operations comply with GPhC guidelines and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense private prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide clinical support and counselling to patients regarding their medications.
- Offer expert online and telephone advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Review and manage online orders, ensuring compliance with GPhC guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and patient interactions.
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, ensuring all operations adhere to regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be a GPhC-registered pharmacist with a valid UK practice license.
- Previous experience as an Independent Prescriber (IP) is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of GPhC guidelines and legal requirements for dispensing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer skills, including experience with pharmacy management systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Working Hours:
- 9.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
