Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Main Street in Bentham.

Location of pharmacy – Situated on the main road through the small village within a 5 minute walk of the surgery.

What is the local area like? Rural area so a close community.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 7000 items a month,
• It provides a wide range of services including BP, NMS, Pharmacy First, Contraceptive serive, Flu jabs, Blue Rxs
• It provides services to substance misuse patient.
• It dispenses 30 community blisters.
• Facilities such as staff room, car park, access to public transport - Staff room - free public car park 1 minute walk away
• Does it have a separate MDS room? Dispensary is split in to a front and back room

This pharmacy is open 09:00-18:00 Mon - Fri 09:00 - 13:00 Saturday. 

Pharmacists applying for this role will be required to work every other Saturday.

Team Size and Breakdown  - There Is a team of 4 colleagues working alongside the experienced pharmacist manager. two colleagues are trainee's and one colleague Is currently on the ACT course.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
