Chief Executive Officer-Salary based on experience and skills.

Pro rata 2 days per week.

Community Pharmacy London is a confederation of 8 of the 9 Local pharmaceutical committees (LPC’s) across London. We are seeking to appoint a new CEO. This exciting key leadership role offers the perfect opportunity for an experienced professional to build on the work of the previous CEO, as well as creating and grasping opportunities that will develop Community Pharmacy in London.

The Role

The overall purpose of the role is to guide and support the Community Pharmacy London Board and Member LPC’s to deliver the best possible outcomes across the capital as a collaborative, as defined by the Community Pharmacy London Strategy, for the benefit of community pharmacy contractors.

The successful individual will provide exceptional leadership support to the Committee ensuring our organisation is at the forefront of the pharmaceutical environment in the areas we work in.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an experienced high-calibre senior manager, with an excellent knowledge and appreciation of community pharmacy/healthcare strategic direction and practice. A range of attributes we are seeking are:

· Proven record of achievement in a senior position within an organisation

· Knowledge and experience of working at Board level

· Experience of negotiating and influencing at a strategic level and building relationships and partnerships.

· Understanding of the wider health and social care agenda

· Experience of strategic planning, business development and how to operationalise strategy.

· Experience of representing an organisation publicly to the media.

· Positive, pro-active and dynamic
