Pharmacist Manager

Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Birstall. 

This community pharmacy is commutable from Bradford, Leeds & Huddersfield and is located on a high street, with a staff room and on site parking available. 

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 2500 items a week
• It provides a wide range of services including Pharmacy First, Contraceptive, BP, ABPM, NMS, Flu and Covid Vaccs, Methadone
• It provides services to 15 substance abuse patients
• It dispenses 140 community blisters

This pharmacy is open 8 - 6.30pm Mon - Fri & 9-12 Saturday. The branch is incredibly well run with the below team structure:

Team leader- Training to  be ACT completion Nov

ACT- 32hrs

Dispenser 1- 37.5hrs

Dispenser 2 12hrs

Dispenser 3- 30hrs

Counter Staff-40hrs

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
