Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacist to join our team for maternity cover on a 1 year fixed term contract effective 01/04/25  The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional healthcare services to our valued customers.  The role is full-time 40hrs onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to legal requirements
  • Oversee inventory management and order pharmaceutical supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
  • Valid pharmacy license in UK
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and provide leadership when needed

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrates the ability to audit data for entry accuracy and recognise inconsistencies with output
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Demonstrates effective attention to detail and the development of alternative plans to ensure satisfactory service in accordance with contract terms
  • Proven proficiency at checking prescriptions
  • Demonstrates intermediate level proficiency in the use of computer-based systems, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, email, and/or database applications.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to maintain relationships with internal colleagues and external clients
